GENERAL INFORMATION, BASIC PRINCIPLES AND RULES

Uludağ University Entrance Examination for foreign Students named as UÜYÖS, is an exam which should be taken by students from abroad who wishes to study at Uludağ University (UÜ). The examination is provided by UÜ. The exam results are also acceptable by some other universities for placing students to associate degrees and undergraduate programs.

All applications will occur through the Internet address of UÜYÖS (http://uludag.edu.tr). Applications are accepted only within the application period.

With the UÜYÖS score, candidates can apply for associate and undergraduate degree programs of both Uludağ University and other Turkish universities that accept UÜYÖS scores.

THE EXAMINATION

UÜYÖS consists of two parts. The first is the “Basic Learning Skills Test,” which will be prepared and given in two languages including Turkish and English. This test will have 80 questions which will consist of logical questions, mathematics questions and geometry questions. This test does not include questions from the fields of Turkish, physics, chemistry, biology and geography.

UÜYÖS Basic Learning Skills Test is scored on a scale of 0-100

QUOTAS FOR UÜ PROGRAMS

* The definitive quotas will be announced after the approval of Council of Higher Education (YÖK)

Applicants can apply to foreigner acceptance quotas of Uludağ University;

a) With UÜYÖS resaults, (Uludağ University Foreign Student Examination)

b) With the results of any other type of examinations which are accepted by Uludağ University Senate

(Any type of acceptable International examinations and required scores are updated and announced every year in May at Uludağ University web page.)
